MLB has released the order for the 2012 first-year player draft with all the slots for compensation decided. This draft will be the first to take place under the latest collective bargaining agreement, which dictated that each club will have a pool of money to spend on its picks in the first 10 rounds. Spending more than the alotted pool money will result in harsh fines and potential loss of future draft picks.
