STRASBURG’S WORK LOAD LINED OUT

The Washington Nationals have released the schedule they have for uber-prospect P Stephen Strasburg as the major league season plays out over the next several weeks. Strasburg, the top overall pick in the 2009 First Year Player Draft, is comebacking from Tommy John surgery and had a succesful five-inning return to the majors on September 6th.

From this point on, Strasburg will go on Sunday against the Astros and then work on five days’ rest until the season ends. He could pitch the season finale on September 28 against the Marlins and manager Davey Johnson indicated that a stint in the instructional league is also possible.
