CARDS’ SHELBY MILLER SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY

The St. Louis Cardinals have suspended their top organizationa prospect, RHP Shelby Miller, indefinitely for what the club called “a violation of team policy”. The 20-year old Miller is playing for AA Springfield at this time and has a 7-3 record and a 2.97 ERA to go along with 27 BB and 71 K’s over 68 2/3 innings. Miller was the 19th overall pick in the 2009 draft.
